Hello fellow comrades of the Austin College community,
My name is Steven Hayes and I graduated in 2008. Since then, I would like to bring to everyone's attention something a bunch of alumni have done.
First off, I changed my name. While my former name is the one listed above, I changed my name (for a number of good reasons, I swear) to Andrew Yorke. Secondly, last year Kevin Nethery (2007) and I started up an artistic production company called the xteamartists organisation. Now, we wanted something to back up this organisation and we think we may have something.
We are in post-production right now on our full-length film 'VIDEOTAPE' and it is due for completion by the end of this year. Most of the footage was shot on the grounds of AC and 99% of the cast and crew attended the school. To add a cherry on the sundae, we're submitting it to a number of festivals, with the emphasis on Cannes. We will submit it to the Cannes Film Festival in March, 2010.
Now, we already have a video podcast up and running which shows how we bring this film to the big screen. It's called 'RENEGADE FILMMAKERS'. You can find all of this material on our website:
